APRIL 2019, SEBASTIAN NASH PLAYS TOURNAMENT WITH 11U-AAA NTX BULDOGS AT TEXAS RANGERS YOUTH BALLPARK
Sebastian Nash guest played with the North Texas Bulldogs 11U-AAA team for a one-day 11U open tournament that was held at the Texas Rangers Youth Ballpark in Arlington, TX. This is truly a great little ballpark that has all of the feeling of playing at a major league stadium. Sebastian has been struggling a bit with the mental part of the game and it has been negatively impacting his performance and overall enjoyment of playing. His goal this tournament was to have fun, let himself fail without getting upset, and not taking himself too seriously. He ended up making a few errors but he never let them get him down, and despite the errors, he had an excellent tournament. He hit very well, driving one ball to the very top of the huge wall in left-field, just missing a home run. He was also very accurate on the mound and threw a few runners out from behind the dish. We all went out and celebrated after the tournament, but we were not celebrating his results, we were celebrating his attitude
