MARCH 2018, CRISTOBAL AND RANGERS 7U TAKE 2ND PLACE AT DFW SELECT30 SUPER NIT

Cristobal and the Ranters 7U AA team had a great tournament this weekend taking 2nd place at the huge DFW Select30 Super NIT. There was simply too much excitement to share it all here, but the boys showed their grit and heart and came back from behind in many of the games to win and make it to the final championship game. Cristobal had a great tournament with solid fielding and hitting. During one elimination game, the game ended in a tie and overtime rules were applied. Being the home team, the Rangers had the last at bat, and during overtime, Cristobal found himself at the plate with 2 outs, runners on 2nd & 3rd. Imagine the pressure. Cristobal ends up hitting line drive double to left-center field and drives in the game winning two runs needed to advance. What a great moment for Cristobal and the Rangers!
